Launchy provides easy and handy access to the different applications that you have installed on your computer.
With Launchy you no longer need to have the desktop full of icons or to open the Start menu and trawl through all those submenus until you find the program you're looking for. Launchy lets you open any application by simply typing in part of its name. A drop-down list will then remind you of the names of all the programs that contain the text string that you have entered.
You can also open other Windows elements, such as the Control Panel, Power Options and Display Properties, in exactly the same way.
Launchy comes with numerous skins which you can use to change its appearance and more can be downloaded from the application’s official web page.
